About the job:
1. Cost accountant :
Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business , Analyzing data collected and recording results , Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures , Making estimates of new and proposed product costs , Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger , Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program .
2. Budget accountant :
Review budget proposals and funding requests , Collaborate with managers to develop final consolidated budget , Submit budget recommendations for approval or rejection of funding requests , Make forecasts for future budget needs .
Requirements :
1. Max of 2 solid years of Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment .
2.Bachelors Degree in Accounting
3.Computer Literate – Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word
4. Preferred working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost & budget standards
5. Alexandria resident only .
